Micromoola

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Introduction

Micromoola ("Micromoola," "we," "us," or "our") operates micromoola.com, a micro-task platform where users complete simple tasks, such as in-store shopping runs, app installs, and online tasks, in exchange for cash rewards. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. By creating an account or using Micromoola, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Who We Are

Micromoola is operated by Broad Solutions LLC. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at support@micromoola.com.

Information We Collect

When you use Micromoola, we collect:

  • Account information: your name, email address, country, and a password. Your password is never stored in plain text; it is hashed and managed by our authentication provider.
  • Payout information: the PayPal email address you provide so we can send your withdrawals.
  • Task submissions: photos, receipts, and text you submit as proof of completing a task. Shopping-run tasks may also involve receipts documenting a reimbursed purchase.
  • Location and timestamp data: with your device's permission, we may capture geolocation coordinates and a timestamp at the moment you submit proof for a task. This is used solely to verify that a submission was made at a plausible location and time, as part of our fraud-prevention process. Providing this is generally required for task types that request it; if you decline to share location, you may be unable to complete those tasks.
  • Usage and analytics data: pages visited, device and browser type, and general usage patterns, collected automatically through Google Analytics.

We do not collect government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Micromoola platform
  • Create and manage your account
  • Review and verify that submitted tasks were actually completed
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and fake submissions, including through geolocation and timestamp checks
  • Credit approved task rewards to your account balance and process withdrawals via PayPal
  • Communicate with you about your account, submissions, or support requests
  • Compile anonymized and aggregated results (such as overall completion rates and general trends) to deliver to the business clients who commission tasks
  • Analyze usage of the platform to improve features and the overall experience

Sharing of Photos and Task Content

When you complete a task on behalf of a business client, for example a shopping-run or in-store task, the photos, receipts, and other proof you submit may be shared directly with that client so they can confirm the task was completed as requested. Clients receive the submission content relevant to their task. They do not receive your password, and we limit the account details shared with clients to what is reasonably necessary to fulfill the task, such as your first name if relevant to the task instructions.

Beyond this task-specific sharing, we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

Service Providers (Processors and Subprocessors)

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate Micromoola. These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage for your account and task submissions
  • Vercel: website hosting
  • PayPal: processing payouts to your PayPal account
  • Google Analytics: website usage analytics

Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its function and is contractually or technically restricted from using it for unrelated purposes.

Cookies

Micromoola uses a small number of cookies:

  • Authentication cookies to keep you securely signed in
  • Preference cookies to remember settings such as your light/dark theme choice
  • Analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) to help us understand how the site is used

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

Data Retention

We retain your account and task submission data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the platform, resolve disputes, and comply with legal and accounting obligations. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as payout records) for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your Rights

You may contact us at support@micromoola.com to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information
  • Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention exceptions described above

We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Children's Privacy

Micromoola is intended only for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact support@micromoola.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls on our database and file storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Micromoola after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
